ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - It's amazing that he stayed on the run for so long, considering he looked directly at surveillance cameras while police say he was robbing and kidnapping a young woman in January at an Arlington ATM.
But he wasn't able to hide forever. Arlington Police say 18-year-old Donald Moses is the man seen in the surveillance videos from January 14, and he was found in Georgia.
"There was great collaboration between our agency and the U.S. Marshals Service in apprehending 18-year-old Donald Moses. Multiple tips led our detectives to Moses," Arlington Police said in a Facebook post.
Surveillance video showed Moses approach 21-year-old Christin's car at the Wells Fargo ATM on North Collins and force her into her trunk. He drove around with her locked inside for hours before she was able to get away.
"It didn't seem like it was planned. It was a crime of opportunity...it could have happened to anyone," Cristin told CBS 11 News.
"It's always well-lit, so I can see when people are coming, but I didn't see this one coming," she told us. "I just thought, I better remember everything about this guy so the police can catch him."
Moses is being held in the Peach County jail.
