While Texas Senator John Cornyn says the proposed NYC Islamic Center will be a campaign issue, there are some Republican figures emerging who say that this shouldn't be a "political football." Tonight on the show, I felt the need to apologize for how emotional the debate has become and I put the question to the audience:
"Can there be a rational discussion about this?"
