Cowboys Agree To 3-Year Deal With Kosier

SAN ANTONIO (AP)  The Dallas Cowboys are keeping left guard Kyle Kosier.

The team and Kosier agreed Thursday to a three-year deal worth just under $9 million, a person familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not announced it.

Keeping Kosier helps solidify an offensive line that's mostly in flux. Center Andre Gurode is on the physically unable to perform list, rookie Tyron Smith is taking over at right tackle and left guard is up for grabs following the release of Leonard Davis.

Left tackle Doug Free also was a free agent, but he's agreed to return.
