Another Humid Day, Rain Chances Small
We start this morning with some patchy fog across north Texas. Visibility is lowest to the east of the metroplex:
Rain chances today will be to the west of the metroplex for the most part. We expect very heavy rain to continue across west Texas where flooding has been an issue from the remnants of Hurricane Odile:
The system to our west stays to our west. It actually will slowly drift to the south over the weekend as high pressure to our east keeps the mid-levels dry overhead:
In the metro area there is a slight chance of rain for your afternoon soccer game today but the best chance of rain will be across our western counties:
We'll have more sunshine east of the metro area where it'll be warmer. It'll be muggy everywhere:
We weak cold front arrives tomorrow. It will trigger storms along the Red River counties in the afternoon heating. For the metro area there is a slight chance of an evening shower or storm as the front passes south. By Monday will have drier air in place:
We don't have a lot of rain in the forecast for next work week. Another front arrives on Friday; right now it looks like it'll produce about a 20% rain chance:
