East Texas girl behind Amber Alert found safe, sheriff's office says
HENDERSON COUNTY – An Amber Alert that was issued for a missing 11-year-old East Texas girl has been discontinued.
The 11-year-old girl from Athens was found safe, according to the Henderson County Sheriff's Office.
The girl was last seen at about 8:25 p.m. Thursday in Athens. The Amber Alert was issued Friday just before 3 p.m.
