Amber Alert For Lancaster Girl

LANCASTER, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - The Texas Department of Public Safety has issued an Amber Alert for teenager Shavon Le'Feye Randle of Lancaster.

Randle is 13-years-old, weighs 120 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen on South Ridge Drive wearing a white t-shirt and blue basketball shorts.

Lancaster police are looking for an unknown man in connection with her disappearance.

Police said the family received a phone call from someone asking if they knew Shavon Randle and when the family member said, "yes," the person on the other end of the phone said, "We have her."

Lancaster police Detective Joseph Brickett said authorities are trying to track down the origin of those phone calls made to the family.

"It's basically finding the right number to follow. Trying to follow a trail. So we are trying to find that trail," said Brickett.

Meanwhile the girl's aunt, Latoya Randle, fought back her emotions and described the wait to hear any news about her niece. "It's hard because someone took a little sweet innocent girl that hasn't done anything to anybody and is threatening her so it's hard for us," she said.

The male suspect is believed to be driving a white, 4-door sedan with a damaged or dark-colored paint transfer on the rear passenger side quarter panel.

Law enforcement officials believe Shavon is in grave or immediate danger.

Anyone with information Shavon Le'Feye Randle's abduction or knows here whereabouts is asked to call the Lancaster Police Department at 972-218-2711.

The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
