Amber Alert Issued For 15-Year-Old Girl "In Grave Danger"

UPDATED: 03/29/2016, 5:45 PM: Alexis McKenzie Leigh Berry was found safe by Georgetown PD.

NORTH TEXAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A statewide Amber Alert was issued this afternoon for 15-year-old Alexis McKenzie Leigh Berry. The girl is believed to be with 43-year-old Duane Dion Jaso and in grave or immediate danger.

Jaso is driving a gray 2007 Chevrolet K2500 dually pickup truck with Texas license plate GF6 3VF and was last seen near Leander, north of Austin.

Police describe Jaso as caucasian, 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 375 pounds. He has hazel eyes, red or blonde hair, a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a maroon Texas A&M baseball cap, camouflage shirt and blue jeans.

Berry is caucasian, 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a tank top, blue jeans and boots.

Law enforcement officials haven't explained why they believe Berry is in immediate danger.

Anyone with information about the location of Jaso or Berry is asked to call the Decatur County Sheriff's Office in Georgia at 229.248.3044 or their local 911 operator.
