GRAPEVINE (CBSDFW.COM) - A big storm could cause problems for travelers on Wednesday, putting a dent into what is typically the busiest travel day of the year in the United States. But some major airlines are already prepared to deal with the hassles.
Flight conditions are clear on Tuesday, but things will certainly look different on the day before Thanksgiving. A storm is set to bring rain and even snow from sunrise to noon in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
Airlines already know that the weather is going to have a big impact on travelers. So, they are offering deals to anybody who might get caught in the shuffle.
Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines announced on Tuesday that they are waiving rebooking fees at a number of airports in the northeast -- those likely to be blanketed with snow by the end of Wednesday. Check below to find out which airports will be offering the deals.
