Airborne Angel Cadets Balloon Glow

Footballs aren't the only thing that fly high in AT&T Stadium.  On Saturday April 16th over 30 hot air balloons will be inflated indoors for the Texas Super Glow II for a great cause.

Airborne Angel Cadets send care packages to our front line military men and women overseas.  It became a labor of love for Delta flight attendant Nancy Carter in 2004.

"I had a young soldier that was nineteen on a flight returning back to Iraq. I learned that he came from a family that could not financially afford to send him any care packages, and as a parent that's unthinkable" said Nancy Carter of Airborne Angel Cadets.

The Texas Super Glow II inside AT&T Stadium will support sending the care packages.  The items inside the boxes are donated, but the shipping cost is paid for by the Airborne Angel Cadets.

"Each one of these big boxes is going to cost us between $41 and $47 dollars to ship" said volunteer Lydia Mann.

Airborne Angel Cadets can always use donations for items to send as well as groups to help pack the boxes.

Tickets are on sale now for the Texas Super Glow II balloon glow April 16th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
