Aggravated Robberies Occur At Two Richardson Homes

RICHARDSON (CBSDFW.COM) - Richardson police said two different families were the victims of aggravated robbery Wednesday and Saturday.

According to police, in both incidents, armed suspects entered the families' homes, held the victims at gunpoint, and stole personal items from the home.

Police said none of the victims were physically injured.

Suspect vehicles were not seen during the robberies.

The first incident occurred Wednesday at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Moroney Drive.

Police said three men dressed in dark clothing forced open the home's back door and entered through there.

The latest offense occurred Saturday on Lakeridge Drive at approximately 4:00 a.m.

Police said four males wearing hoodies and masks entered forced their way into the family's home through the back door.

Richardson police are reminding residents to lock their doors and windows, set their security alarms and report any suspicious behavior.
