Aggies Unveil New Uniform For 2012-13
COLLEGE STATION (AP) - Texas A&M unveiled new football uniforms for the upcoming season, the program's first as a member of the Southeastern Conference.
The home maroon and road white uniforms pay homage to the teams from the 1970s, with vertical stripes down the shoulder and down the pant legs. The uniforms are made by adidas.
The uniforms also feature an updated logo, which appears on the pants and helmets. The logo has the school's traditional "ATM'' mark within the state of Texas outline.
Texas A&M completed its exit from the Big 12 to the SEC on July 1. The football team opens the season Aug. 30 against Louisiana Tech.
