Aggies Prepare For SEC Debut Against No.24 Florida
COLLEGE STATION (AP) - Texas A&M will open the 2012 season with a bang.
After their opener was postponed because of Hurricane Isaac, the Aggies will kick off the season at home Saturday against No. 24 Florida in their first game against a fellow Southeastern Conference rival.
Florida beat Bowling Green 27-14 last week and got a chance to figure out its quarterback situation and work out some kinks. That gave the Aggies some tape to watch _ something the Gators don't have.
New Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin says: "You can't worry about that.'' Florida coach Will Muschamp says: "We are in a little bit of a guessing game.''
