FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Fort Worth now say the search for Typhenie Johnson, a woman missing for nearly two months, is the largest in that city's history.

So far police and investigators have covered some 100-square miles -- searching for Johnson on foot, horseback and by helicopter.

Johnson disappeared October 10. She had walked outside of her apartment to speak to Christopher Revill, a man who she dated for several months but had ended the relationship with weeks before.

Investigators say a relative had invited Revill over to watch Monday Night Football. While there they say Revill met Johnson's new boyfriend for the first time.

Revill was later arrested and charged with kidnapping after several pieces of clothing and personal items of Johnson's were found at his home.

Typhenie K. Johnson, 25, was last seen with 32-year-old Christopher Revill, who is currently in custody.

In the seven weeks since Johnson, 25, went missing Fort Worth police Sergeant Marc Povero explained that investigators have covered a lot of ground. "We conducted the largest ground search in the history of the Police Department in an attempt to find her. But we're not done – far from it. Our detectives are actively working and they're still trying to locate where she might be."

While there has been no progress in the case in recent weeks Povero said the investigation is far from stalled. "What they're doing is using some technology that we don't want to disclose. But they are actively working with our federal partners to attempt to locate Typhenie Johnson."

Members of Johnson's family said they go out searching for the 25-year-old every weekend. While that isn't the case of Fort Worth police, Povero said they will get back in the search if they receive any promising clues or information.

"We will ramp this back up again if we find evidence that would lead us to a specific area to search. So, we're hoping that we can find an area that we could search and we will put those resources back out into the field in an attempt to find her."

Typhenie Johnson stands about 5'4" tall, and weighs approximately 135 pounds and when last seen in October was wearing a pink shirt and black and white pants. Anyone with information about her whereabouts or has information about her disappearance is asked to call 911 or contact police at 817-392-4430 or817-335-4222.
