DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A Plano man who runs a printing supply business in Dallas faces manslaughter after he allegedly told police that he accidentally shot and killed a coworker.

Daniel White allegedly told officers that he was playing with a gun at his warehouse in Northwest Dallas when it went off and killed a 45-year-old worker.

Just two hours before the shooting, CBS 11 News interviewed White and his wife for a story about their daughter. Micaela White is battling leukemia and other life-threatening complications to her liver and kidneys following a bone marrow transplant. The 18-year-old is in need of A-negative platelets and remains in intensive care at Children's Medical Center.
