Abbott In Arlington To Talk Trafficking
ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott says the state is getting ready for a law enforcement problem that follows every Super Bowl.
Abbott says human traffickers are already eying Arlington ahead of the big game in February.
He says the traffickers bring in hundreds of woman and girls, often threatening, beating up or starving them into prostitution. During last Super Bowl they found human traffickers were relentless
Abbott says some reports say tens of thousands of women and minors were trafficked in the Miami area for the last Super Bowl.
