AA Workers Given Choices By Union
Ground workers for American Airlines have been given two choices by its union leaders...vote on the new contract or vote to strike. The Transport Workers Union is sending out ballots July 26th. The new contract agreement came after two-and-a-half years of negotiations. But the 13-thousand workers can't just walkout without the Mediation Board deciding there is an impasse...which hasn't happened yet. If it does...the union has 30 days to reach an agreement before they walk out.
