Attorney General Lynch To Face Questions On Policing, Clinton Investigation

WASHINGTON (AP) - Attorney General Loretta Lynch likely faces questions about policing and race, as well as her department's decision not to bring charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of private email while secretary of state, in a House hearing.
The House Judiciary Committee is likely to ask Tuesday about police interactions with minorities following a violent week that brought that issue to the forefront.
A sniper in Dallas killed five officers last week, telling police he wanted to kill whites. The attack came during protests over the police killings of a man near St. Paul, Minnesota, and another in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Lynch also closed without charges the federal investigation into Clinton's private email server, angering Republicans who believed evidence showed the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee had illegally mishandled classified information.
