911 Operator Knew Hunt Co. Double Homicide Victims

COMMERCE (CBSDFW.COM) - Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks said the 911 operator who answered a call from a woman in distress knew the victim.
"Our dispatcher was familiar with the victim and was the last person to speak to her alive," said Sheriff Meeks.
Nichole Elizabeth Gonzales, 27, and her mother Vicki Ann Gonzales, 51, were found dead inside their home in Commerce Friday.
Nichole Gonzales' estranged boyfriend, Tyrone Williams was arrested at a nearby Walmart in connection to the double homicide. Police said they found a murder weapon at the home.
"We believe he broke into the house and was waiting on them to come home," said Sheriff Meeks.
The 911 operator heard Vicki Gonzales yelling Williams' name during the call, according to Sheriff Meeks.
Deputies have responded to six or seven calls at the home in the last year. Vicki Gonzales' car tires were slashed and her car was keyed months ago. And the harassment didn't stop there. Sheriff Meeks said there was a "choking incident" in June 2015.
Nichole Gonzales had expressed fears that Williams put a tracker on her car and was stalking her. She had two children, a 4-week-old and an 18-month-old with Williams.
Both children were home at the time of the domestic homicides. They're now in Child Protective Services custody.
