6 Hurt In Tour Bus Fire At Texas Rest Stop

Investigators say a tour bus fire at a rest stop in southeast Texas left at least six people hurt and destroyed the vehicle.
Victoria Fire Department Battalion Chief Tracy Fox says two people were transported by ambulance Thursday to Citizens Medical Center after being exposed to smoke. Another four people were treated on the scene.
Names of the victims were not immediately released.
Fire department officials say the blaze was reported around 6:15 a.m. Thursday at the U.S. 59 rest stop near Inez, about
100 miles southwest of Houston.
A shelter was set up at First United Church Methodist Church. The Victoria Advocate reports the bus company arranged for 12 other people to be transport to Houston.
Further information was not immediately available about the tour bus operator.
