5 DFW Players Named To McDonald's All-American Teams

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) -  Five local high school basketball stars were named to the prestigious McDonald's All-American team this afternoon.

Shooting guard Marcus Smart of Flower Mound Marcus, an Oklahoma State signee, and Isaiah Austin of Arlington Grace Prep, a 7-foot center headed to Baylor University, will play for the West squad on March 28 in Chicago.

In addition, three local players have been named to the McDonald's All America girls squad.  UConn recruit Moriah Jefferson, who plays for the THESA Riders home school team, Duke signee Alexis Jomes of Irving MacArthur, and future Texas A&M Aggie Jordan Jomes of DeSoto will play in the girls game, also on March 28 in Chicago,
