4 People Killed In 2 Crashes Along 1 Highway

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Four people were killed in two separate crashes along one North Texas highway.
It happened along Highway 175 in southeast Dallas.
The first incident took place at around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night. Police said that two men got into an argument at the Neon Cowboy nightclub. They walked out of the building and onto the freeway, near Masters Drive. A passing vehicle struck both of the men.
One man died at the scene. The other man was later pronounced dead at Baylor Medical Center at Dallas. Authorities have not released the names of the two men.
The roadway was shut down for a few hours while deputies were on the scene. The driver who struck the men did stop and try to help them, and has been assisting in the investigation. That individual will not likely face any charges.
Some of the same deputies later responded to a second crash along the same stretch of highway, just about two miles away.
It was around 2:00 a.m. early Monday when a car plunged off of a bridge near Prairie Creek Road. According to Dallas County Sheriff's Department deputies, a Chrysler 300 sedan somehow flew off of the freeway and fell into the creek below. There were two people inside of the car when it flipped over. Both of them were killed in the crash, which flattened the vehicle.
It is not clear what caused the car to drive off of the highway. The names of these two victims have also not been released.
