DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - The search is on for two men who shot three people outside of a Dallas grocery store on Thursday night. It happened at around 10:15 p.m. at the Minyard's location near the intersection of Hampton Road and Singleton Boulevard in the western part of the city.

The grocery store was actually open at the time of the shooting, and authorities are talking to several witnesses to learn more about what happened.

Police explained that two male suspects with guns walked up to a grocery store manager and a security guard and tried to rob them as they were retrieving money from a gas station in the store's parking lot. But the security guard had a gun of his own, and shots were exchanged near the grocery store's entrance.

The security guard was struck by two shots, and two store customers -- one male and one female -- were each hit once. The store manager was grazed by a bullet. The current conditions of the victims are not known, but none of the injuries were life threatening.

"That's real scary," said customer Terry Watson on Friday morning.

The store is already making plans to increase their security measures. "Things like this don't have a ZIP code, so it can happen anywhere," general manager Bill Davidson added. "We're just blessed our people are well."

Detectives do not know if the suspects were also injured in the exchange of gunfire before they ran away on foot. Police are now searching for those men, but have not released a good description of them at this time.
