3 People Hurt In Denton County Boat Crash
DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Three people were injured in a boat crash Tuesday night in Denton County. The incident happened around 10:45 p.m. when a bass boat ran into the dam at Ray Roberts Lake, traveling as much as 30 feet up the rocky surface.
According to game wardens, the boaters were ages 18, 19 and 20. One victim suffered serious head injuries. Another victim received a laceration to the stomach. Those two people were transported via air ambulance to Medical Center of Plano. The third victim suffered only minor injuries.
Police have not said if charges will be filed, or if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
