3 People Hurt In Arlington Shooting

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Arlington are investigating a shooting that left three people injured. The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Officers and paramedics were called to a convenience store in the 1100 block of Watson Road. Authorities there found the three male victims with gunshot wounds.

The actual shooting took place at a nearby motel, according to Tiara Richard with the Arlington Police Department. One of the shooting victims was able to drive the group to the convenience store, where the clerk working inside called 911 for help. One victim was transported to Harris Methodist Hospital in Dallas and is expected to survive. The other men were taken to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth with more critical injuries.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Police are now looking over evidence from both the motel and the convenience store, as well as interviewing witnesses, to determine a motive for the shooting.
