3 People Arrested After 40-Minute Police Chase

FRISCO (CBSDFW.COM) - Three people are under arrest after a police chase that lasted more than 40 minutes. The car chase started just before midnight in Fort Worth, near the intersection of East Loop 820 and Wilbarger Street, and wrapped up early Monday morning in Frisco. Authorities said that a female driver struck a motorcycle and failed to stop.

Police pursued the woman through east Fort Worth, North Richland Hills, Hurst, Bedford, Grapevine, Coppell, Lewisville and The Colony before the chase entered Frisco along the Dallas North Tollway service road. The driver was arrested for outstanding warrants, evading arrest and kidnapping, since her two passengers were not willing participants in the chase.

But those two passengers -- one man and one woman -- were also arrested for outstanding warrants. None of the names have been released.

The condition of the motorcycle driver is not known.
