FORT WORTH (CBSDFW) - A guilty verdict has been reached in a Tarrant County capital murder trial against a 22-year old man in connection with a February 2014 murder.
Jacob Everett has been found guilty in the 2014 murder of an Arlington shoe store salesman.
Early Wednesday afternoon a Tarrant county jury decided Everett was the man who shot 23-year Randy Pacheco during a robbery at the Red Wing Shoe Store on Cooper street.
Everett had pleaded guilty to an agravated robbery charge, but denied any role in the murder.
The shooting shocked those who work in that area leading to more than 60 tips to Arlington police.
Everett gets an automatic life prison term with no chance for parole.
