FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Traffic is flowing again on Highway 183 W and 114 W after a 6-hour closure. At about 12:30 p.m., a rock hauling truck slammed into a couple of overhead signs near the Hwy. 183/114 split, before hitting an overpass and overturning on the highway. The truck's dump trailer was in the up at the time of the crash.

TxDOT shut down westbound lanes on both highways and rerouted traffic to Storey Lane as crews worked to remove the damaged signs and debris.

TxDOT announced it will close Highway 183 overnight on September 18 to repair a damaged power pole. That closure will last about 15 minutes between 2 and 3 a.m.
