1 Dead After Crash Involving 18-Wheeler In Collin County
MELISSA, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) - One person is dead after a crash involving an 18-wheeler in the Collin County city of Melissa early Friday morning.
The crash happened at around 6 a.m. on the Sam Rayburn Highway near Highway 5.
A car could be seen pinned underneath the cab of an 18-wheeler on the highway. The cause of the crash is not known at this time but officials do not believe weather was a factor.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
