President Biden commutes sentence for former Dixon, Ill. Comptroller Rita Crundwell
The president commuted the sentences of 1,499 people who were released from prison and placed on home confinement during the coronavirus pandemic.

"JPD's repeated failure to identify and address unreasonable force is not an aberration—it is a hallmark of its supervisory culture," a report from the Illinois Attorney General's office states.
