Michael Roppolo is a social media associate producer for CBS News. Based in New Jersey, Michael graduated from RIT/NTID in 2013 with a degree in journalism and a minor in American history. An award-winning content creator, he began his career as an intern for "48 Hours," covering crime for CBS News. After graduation, he returned to CBS News to write about science and technology. Now splitting his time between "48 Hours" and CBSNews.com, Michael received an Emmy and an Edward R. Murrow Award for his work on the 2018 documentary, "39 Days." He also previously interned at Fox News, writing for their website.
