Police said that around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, they responded to the 3500 block of Iron Canyon Circle for an attempted homicide.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the area of Fremont and Yosemite streets. According to police, the victims, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were headed to a party when a vehicle drove by and an occupant shot at them.
Oakland Police said they recieved four different reports of shootings between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Saturday. As a result of the shootings, two people are dead and four are injured, police said.
According to police, two people were in a large parking lot when someone in a vehicle approached them. An occupant of the vehicle then opened fire and struck them.
