Group of teens commit three robberies in 20 minutes in downtown Chicago

Police say the suspects would bring a listed sale item to the counter. When the cashier opens the register, they jump over the counter and grab money from within.
Police say the suspects drive up and then target victims who are sitting in their cars or have just gotten out of them.
Chicago police said around 12:20 a.m., the victims were on a sidewalk, in the 300 block of North State Street, when a witness said they began arguing with a group of males.
Chicago police arrested Gregory Mulkey, 33, around 5:04 p.m. on Friday, in the 3700 block of West Leland Avenue.
Police said around 1:03 a.m., officers were in the 2500 block of South Homan Avenue when someone approached and attempted to batter the officers.
Police said officers responded to a report of a person shot and found two victims within the 1800 and 1900 blocks of Green Lane North.
Police say the shooting happened in the 17400 block of South Pulaski Road around 9 p.m. Officers were dispersing a group of people when shots were fired by an unknown offender.
Police around 10:44 a.m. on Thursday arrested Boris Vasilic, 41, of Chicago, in the 6300 block of North Francisco Avenue.

Further investigation revealed that gunfire traveled from outside and shattered a window before striking the victim.
The shooting happened around 8:34 p.m. in the 7100 block of South Western Avenue.
Alex Lopez, 31, was arrested by the Chicago police department and the Great Lakes Regional Task Force on Tuesday, in the 300 block of North Maxwell Road in Peoria, Illinois.
