Woman found dead outside in Greater Grand Crossing, police say
Preliminary information says the woman was found unresponsive outside in the 6900 block of South Wabash Avenue just after 8 a.m.

Preliminary information says the woman was found unresponsive outside in the 6900 block of South Wabash Avenue just after 8 a.m.
The victim suffered a graze wound to the back of her neck, causing her to crash her car into another vehicle, police said.
Chicago police say the thieves would park their cars, then go up to the victim, pointing their guns, and demand their belongings.
Chicago police said the victim was sitting inside his truck when two people approached, opened his door, and fired multiple shots at him before fleeing the scene.

The victim was driving when he was shot by the offender, who was a passenger, police said.
The victims ranged in age from 16 to 49.
Larry Neuman, 73, was shot around 11:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of West Monroe Street in West Garfield Park.
The messages, "Gaza is bleeding," and, "Stop genocide," were also scrawled on the plaza in front of the fountain.
The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died.
Javier LeBron, 40, was arrested by members of the Area Five Homicide Support Team in the 2600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of North Wabash Avenue.
Starting Monday, the Summer Meals and LunchStop programs will be offered at hundreds of school locations throughout the district, including all summer program locations.
Six robberies were reported on Tuesday during the early morning hours in the Archer Heights, Gage Park, Elsdon, and North Lawndale neighborhoods.
The ticket in the May 20 Lotto Million 1 drawing matched all six numbers, winning the $1 million jackpot prize.
