
Man charged in deadly shooting in Walmart parking lot in Lansing, Illinois

Lansing police responded to the Walmart at 17625 Torrence Avenue for a report of shots fired. There, they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the two men confronted each other in the parking lot, where they exchanged gunfire.
The 12-year-old was charged with one felony count of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm and one felony count of attempted vehicular hijacking.
Chicago police said the victim was walking on the sidewalk when she heard gunshots and then realized that she was shot in her arm.
The ages of the victims range from 18 to 57.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said around 2 a.m., a patrolling deputy in the area of Washington Street and Lancer Lane saw a vehicle traveling without headlghts on.
Police said he was found unresponsive on the ground and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Reginal Petty, 43, was arrested Thursday by Chicago police officers and members of the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
A witness told the officers that the victims were shot at by someone traveling in a vehicle.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said just after 2 a.m., deputies responded to the area of Stearns School Road and Mill Creek Drive for a traffic crash with someone trapped inside a vehicle.

Denise Solorzano, 28, was charged with four felony counts of aggravated battery in a public place, four felony counts of aggravated battery with the use of a deadly weapon, and two counts of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.
Alex Landa, 33, of the 700 block of Franklin, Winthrop Harbor, was indicted by the Lake County Grand Jury on Wednesday, charged with failure to report a crash involving death and aggravated DUI causing death.
In the last two years, the station also sold a $25,000 and a $50,000 winning lottery ticket.
The robbery happened around 8 p.m. on Feb. 12 in the 4600 block of North Broadway in the Uptown neighborhood.
