
Suspect facing charges in South Side stabbings that killed woman, wounded her 2 sons

Marcus Bausley, 39, was taken into custody Friday around 10 a.m. following a pursuit by police on Interstate 65 in Merrillville, Indiana.
Officers arrived and found a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in the parking lot and began to render aid to the victim.
Preliminary reports indicated one of the vehicles was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of Route 41.
Officials said the extensive heat and smoke damage throughout the residence displaced them.
The shooting happened at 8:15 p.m. Saturday in The Level Hotels & Furnished Suites luxury hotel and apartment building, at 369 W. Grand Ave. off Orleans Street.
Police said a 23-year-old man refused to leave the premises. That's when a security guard, a 57-year-old man, attempted to escort him out, leading to a fight between the two.
The ages of the victims range from 16 to 61.
Preliminary reports say that two men, 21 and 35, and a girl, 17, were standing in a parking lot when they were hit by gunfire from occupants in an unknown SUV and sedan.
The ticket, worth $3,188,104, was purchased on Thursday, February 20, at Komal Wine and Liquor on Chicago's northwest side, near O'Hare airport, at 4628 N. Cumberland Ave.
