North Miami Police is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of NE 167th Street and NE 20th Street.
A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in Tamarac on Wednesday night.
The double shooting occurred just 20 minutes away from an apparent unrelated shooting in the area.
The pursuit began after officers found a man acting in a "suspicious manner" during an area check at a local hotel.
Though the dogs' breed was not confirmed, police told CBS News Miami that they were assumed to be pit bulls.
CBS News Miami has a crew on scene to gather more information.
City of Miami Police said the suspect stole the bus while its driver was using the restroom.
Florida Highway Patrol said the tow truck driver died on the scene.
NPS is working to continue monitoring the site to learn more about the wreck of the St. Lucie.
The mom allegedly strangled her son in her car with a tablecloth before proceeding to run errands across the county.
