"There's a bleak irony in our being beaten back by climate change," one 15-year-old activist from London says.
"I have all my family here. I have no one in Jamaica," said a father of five who was scheduled to be deported.
"This measure will rightly make it easier for health professionals to help keep people safe across the country," officials say.
"I was cut from hip to hip, I had my belly button removed, I had unnecessary chemotherapy — it's left me completely scarred," one patient said.
