Cole Premo is digital manager for CBS Minnesota. For more than a decade, he's been covering breaking news and weather, daily topics, stories from the Native community and more in Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2009 (English/New Media Studies), Cole Premo began working full-time for WCCO's web department. However, he had started his journalism journey four years earlier as a mentorship student for the Emma Bowen Foundation. Every summer up until his graduation, Cole experienced all aspects of WCCO-TV before being hired on as a web producer. Cole Premo also moonlights as a freelance journalist for Minnesota Native News (Ampers community radio) where he also co-hosts a radio show/podcast with his sister, Leah Lemm, called "Native Lights: Where Indigenous Voices Shine."
