Chicago police seek driver in hit-and-run on Near West Side

A man was inside when a gunman came in and shot him. Then, a third man pulled out a gun and fired at the shooter.
A 16-year-old boy got into an argument with a man who then pulled out a gun and opened fire, police say.
Police say a man, a woman, and two children were able to get out of the building after shots rang out.
Officials say the marine unit is responding to the area to search for a male who entered the water and has not been found.
Police say the woman was jogging on the shoulder of the road and in the bike lane of South Halsted Street.
Three buildings and a vehicle were also damaged in the shooting.
Elitis Shaw has not been seen for more than three weeks, police said.
"I saw a little blood on the axe, and he was smiling. He was smiling and walking with the axe like this and eating a cookie," a man outside said.
The teens, 15 and 17, were near the front of a home just after 6 p.m. when they were approached by an unknown vehicle.
The ages of the victims range from 15 to 75.
On Sunday, a family member noticed the body in the water near the scene of the accident.
A 29-year-old woman said she went to check on the boy and noticed the window screen was torn.
The incident was reported around 4:30 p.m. at Illinois Canyon in the park.
A baby and his father are hospitalized following a shooting in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood.
