Possible double billing for work done in Wuhan lab

CBS News has reviewed records that may show the U.S. government paid twice for aspects of projects carried out at a research lab in Wuhan and other facilities in China. Now USAID’s internal watchdog has opened a probe after receiving information from Republican Sen. Roger Marshall. Senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge reports. Origins of COVID-19 still unclear

Members of the U.S. intelligence community remain divided over the origins of COVID-19. According to a report released Friday by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, there are two likely sources. The virus either came from an infected animal or a lab. Dr. Stanley Perlman, a professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Iowa and a pediatric infectious diseases physician, joins CBSN's Lana Zak to discuss the report's findings and more.
