Even before he took office, President Biden promised to deliver 100 million coronavirus vaccine doses during his first 100 days in office. But the administration does not seem to have hit the ground running as quickly as they hoped. COVID vaccines and the risks of new variants

As more cases of coronavirus variants are being detected in states across the U.S., health experts say early data shows vaccines should still be effective at preventing hospitalizations and deaths. Dr. Julie Morita, executive vice president of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and a former member of the Biden administration transition advisory board, joins CBSN's "Red and Blue" anchor Elaine Quijano with more on that plus racial disparities in vaccinations and new rapid at-home tests.
