USS Cole bomber targeted in Yemen air strike

The Pentagon says an airstrike it carried out this week in Yemen targeted an Al-Qaeda operative believed to be connected to the deadly bombing of the U.S.S. Cole that killed 17-sailors in 2000. The results of the New Year's day attack are still being assessed, including whether Jamal Al-badawi was killed. Al-badawi was indicted for the attack in 2003 but escaped twice from a prison in Yemen. There is a five-million dollar reward for information leading to his arrest.
