Police report released in Pete Hegseth case

A police report that details a 2017 allegation of sexual assault against Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump's pick for defense secretary, was released Wednesday. In the report, a woman claims she was sexually assaulted by Hegseth in a Northern California hotel. Hegseth, who told police that the encounter was consensual, was on Capitol Hill on Thursday meeting with Senate Republicans in an effort to shore up their support for his expected nomination. Mohamed Al-Fayed accused of sexual assault

London's luxury department store Harrods has apologized after allegations emerged that its former owner, businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed, raped and sexually assaulted some ex-employees. More than 20 women say they were sexually assaulted by the billionaire with five claiming they were raped, according to a BBC News investigation. Al-Fayed, who died last year, had previously denied accusations of sexual assault. BBC News correspondent Azadeh Moshiri has more.
