Both Vallow Daybell and her husband, Chad Daybell, have pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The charges were dismissed without prejudice, "which allows the office to file charges in the future and provides time for additional review of the case," a spokesperson said.
Ryan's estranged wife accused him of sexual assault last week, a probable cause statement said.
Occasionally she appeared to laugh or scoff at the legal arguments made by the prosecutor.
