Hunter Biden on laptop reports and tax probe

Less than 100 days into President Biden's first term, his son Hunter is opening up to Anthony Mason about his revealing new memoir, "Beautiful Things." He addresses the scandals that put him front and center in the 2020 presidential campaign, including possibly incriminating documents found on a laptop that may have belonged to him and the federal investigation into his taxes. He denies ever giving any income from private business dealings to his father.

Hunter Biden is opening up to “CBS This Morning” co-host Anthony Mason about a heated family intervention into his past drug and alcohol addiction that resulted in an emotional confrontation with his father, President Joe Biden. After he stormed out into the family driveway, Biden said his father chased him down and gave him a “bear hug.” Biden and Mason's wide-ranging interview will air on "CBS This Morning" on Monday, April 5. Biden also speaks with Tracy Smith for "CBS Sunday Morning," airing April 4.
