WorldView: Iran to resume nuclear talks

Iran's chief nuclear negotiator said talks aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear deal are back on. Lawmakers urge Blinken to address "Havana Syndrome"

A group of lawmakers is calling on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to do more to address an increasing number of Havana Syndrome cases among U.S. officials. In a letter obtained by CBS News, they call the situation a "significant, unmitigated threat to our national security." Suspected cases of Havana Syndrome have been reported in several countries in recent weeks. Intelligence and national security reporter Olivia Gazis joined CBSN's Lana Zak to discuss.

Inside base in Germany holding Afghan refugees

The Biden administration has announced plans to admit roughly 50,000 Afghan refugees into the country. However, the process has proven difficult even for those with American citizenship. CBS News correspondent Christina Ruffini spoke with two Afghan citizens about their experience fleeing the country. Then Liz Landers, chief political correspondent for Vice, joins CBSN's Lana Zak from Frankfurt, Germany, to describe her time at the Ramstein Air Force Base where thousands of Afghan evacuees have been held as they await processing.
