Dominion, Fox News reach settlement

Dominion Voting Systems and Fox News have reached a deal to resolve the $1.6 billion defamation case the electronic voting company brought against the cable news giant over unfounded accusations broadcast after the 2020 presidential election, falsely claiming it rigged votes against former President Donald Trump. FBI searches Mike Pence's home in Indiana

The FBI conducted a consensual search for classified documents Friday at former Vice President Mike Pence's home in Carmel, Indiana, CBS News has confirmed. The search comes on the heels of CBS News learning that Pence has been subpoenaed as part of the Justice Department's investigations into former President Donald Trump. Charles McCullough, a senior partner at Compass Rose Legal Group and a former inspector general of the intelligence community, joined CBS News to discuss the breaking news.

Newly released video obtained by CBS News provides the first look at former President Donald Trump's deposition last summer in the New York attorney general's civil fraud investigation. Trump sat for questioning under oath on Aug. 10, and repeatedly took the Fifth Amendment, refusing to answer questions about his company's financial practices.
