Five of president-elect Joe Biden's Cabinet picks began their confirmation hearings Tuesday as the Trump administration prepares to leave office. But there is some fear that a minority group of Republicans may try to slow the process down. Hearings start for Biden's cabinet nominees

The Senate is kicking off a series of high-stakes confirmation hearings Tuesday for President-elect Joe Biden's top cabinet nominees. Lawmakers will question his picks to lead the Departments of State, Treasury, Homeland Security and Defense along with the director of national intelligence.
