Teaming with guitarist/producer Andrew Watt to write material for the singer's latest effort Every Loser, Pop tore into the new songs like "Frenzy" with a tenacity that belied the fact that he just celebrated his 76th birthday the night before.

While the band included Watt playing guitar alongside Jamie Hince of the Kills on rhythm guitar, Red Hot Chili Peppers Drummer Chad Smith and a keyboard player, it was Guns n' Roses bassist Duff McKagen who anchored the unit with his simple and propulsive playing.

Iggy Pop and the Losers wasted no time delving into the singer's history, ripping through the Stooges gems "Raw Power" and "T.V. Eye" and Pop's solo hit "Sixteen" early on.
