Evacuation Orders Lifted, Roads Reopen With Wragg Fire 47 Percent Contained
WINTERS (CBS SF) -- The Wragg Fire burning near Lake Berryessa in Napa and Solano counties is currently estimated at 6,900 acres, and firefighters have it 47 percent contained as of Saturday morning.
All mandatory evacuation and road closure orders are being lifted as of 10 a.m., according to a statement from Cal Fire.
There are currently 1,825 firefighters on scene, with 157 fire engines, 28 bulldozers and 13 helicopters. The fire has destroyed an outbuilding and a tent trailer, and 140 other structures remain threatened. No injuries have been reported, according to Cal Fire.
Officials have scheduled a townhall meeting where residents affected by the incident can ask questions after fire officials present an overview of what happened during the fire and their current objectives going forward, according to Cal Fire.
That will occur at 6 p.m. Saturday evening in the Winters Fire Department, 700 Main St., in Winters.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and at this time there is no estimate for when the fire will be fully contained.
