World Series Food Faceoff - Who Has The Better Stadium Snacks?

Odds-makers may have made the Detroit Tigers the early favorites over our Giants on the field in the 2012 World Series, but San Francisco's foodie culture gives us the an expected edge in ballpark bites.  Here's a look at how San Francisco's AT&T Park and Detroit's Comerica Park stack up on snacks, weigh in below on which food you'd choose:

Food Courts:

Detroit - Big Cat Food Court
The Big Cat Food Court is near the main entrance and offers a wide variety of food choices including fresh squeezed lemonade, elephant ears, ice cream, French fries, handmade pretzels, deli sandwiches, gyros, frozen daiquiris and coney and Chicago style hot dogs.

San Francisco - Center Field Promenade
Tucked behind the scoreboard are a bevy of unique ballpark options, including the Crazy Crab Dungeness Crab sandwich on sourdough, Orlando's Cha-Cha Bowl - a Puerto Rican inspired dish of black beans, seasoned rice and jerk chicken – grilled selections at the John McGraw Derby Grill, along with sweet treats such as cotton candy and snow cones.

Adult Beverages:

Detroit - Beer Hall
This modern tavern offers a wide selection of local and international beers, a tavern-style menu, an impressive 70 foot

bar and dozens of heavy wooden picnic tables.

San Francisco - Murph's Irish Pubs
This original ballpark brand, established in 2004 and named in honor of Giants Legendary Clubhouse Manager Mike Murphy, features the Pub's signature Irish Nachos (Irish chili over crispy potatoes topped with cheddar and green onions), Fish and crispy Chips, Corned Beef Brisket, Roasted Turkey Breast, and Murph's Chili Dog. In addition to standard bar offerings, the Pub also serves Black & Tans, Irish Coffee, and spiked Hot Chocolate.

Signature Dish:

Detroit - The Coney Dog
Essentially a meatless chili hot dog with cheese - is a Detroit mainstay of Downtown Leo's Coney Island Dogs. They're messy, but a true classic that goes back to Tiger Stadium.

San Francsico- Gilroy Garlic Fries
The signature dish and smell of AT&T Park can be found at one of the park's 10 garlic fries locations with a total of 73 purchase lines. The fries are made with fresh garlic and parsley, which are cut daily, and prepared in oil containing no trans fat.
